Before, I tell you who are the two ladies and how they made it possible, I have to tell all youngsters who read this – if you forget what brought you here, then there is a lot for you to learn. Better start all over again.
Let me introduce myself. Me and my dear wife who has quietly weathered all storms, and a well put together son.
And, a little sister, who has had her share of problems and blessings – a wonderful husband and two sons, who okay, let me put it like this. With each son on either side, no stranger dare trouble my sister.
Cut to now, all of us have grown up, and leading our own lives.
Let me introduce the two ladies, a bit more.
My sister. Fiery, frank (when in her teens she was moderately frank, now VERY frank. And, very involved. And, in every chat I can see, she thinks my son is special.
My wife. Steady, quiet, working in a leading IT company (Lead Functional Consultant), very fond of her son, nephews, niece and unassuming.
A bit more of background.
Let us go back some 25 yrs.
My sister’s husband worked in the Indian Air Force and had a transferable job. My dear late father stayed with us being a widower at 53 yrs. We were in Mysore, far off from the job locations of my brother-in-law.
But, for several years my BIL let my sister visit us, travel by 2-tier AC, for over two days, from far off places to Mysore to spend a few days with us.
All three kids, and later youngsters used to have a good time over a period of several years.

Laughter, jokes, seeing places, Bhel Puri, dosas, and exchange of goodwill.

Along with them my dear father, too had a good time.
But, the purpose of my article, is not to tell the world or my son and nephews, they are well put- together. They know, that I respect and like them by the way I address them. With respect.
Because, I strongly believe that Disrespect is the first step to Disassociation. I have written a post on this here.
Post on Disrespect (a year ago)
How to react to disrespect, this was passed on to me and my sister by our father, who at the first sign of disrespect – reacted with the conclusion that this is a gone case.
I have and I think my sister also have passed it on to others – this good habit.
And, thankfully, lately as recent as few weeks, my nephew who stays in US, when I had a tele call after a long time, addressed me respectfully and lovingly – leading to a long nearly half an hour call, and a desire kindled in me and my wife to take my son and two nephews on a road trip in my new HONDA ELEVATE arriving shortly.
The purpose of this post, is to gently remind myself, how much trouble my sister took for a boring travel, 2 long days, each way by trains with smelly toilets and inadequate quality food, with two energetic kids.
And, my wife to make sure lunches, breakfast, and dinners are made on time to three growing up kids and a picky father-in-law as regards food.
And, keep all necessities ready so the kids, our son and nephews have a good time during their stay.
So, let’s say big “thanks” to both my sister and my wife and let us remember, this was because, the relationships were respected and cherished – all because of the two marvelous ladies.
If you are thankful to anyone who think and do similarly like this post and share it.
